A collection of partnerships with music gear brands I designed with Reverb | 2021-2023

FROST GIANT ELECTRONICS | LITTLE AcID FUzZ

I was asked by the business development team to develop promotional assets for the launch of the Little Acid Fuzz pedal on Reverb with the goal of highlighting its unique design. I decided to lean into the playing card motif making the pedal a part of a deck. The choices in elements were inspired by traditional vintage rock and roll aesthetics giving this pedal an edge.

During the development of this partnership, I initially had some difficulty finding a way to highlight 7 pedals individually while still having them be heavily featured as a collection. I went with leaning in on the slight color accents each Hammertone pedal provides and sticking with textures and a slight color washing to ground the gear a bit. I saved elements with heavier contrast, like the dark grey circles, to call out the pedal, having both a contrast in color and shape to each Fender Hammertone.

This launch was one of my favorites to work on, From the second I received these beautiful promotional, I knew I wanted the creative to feature a spacey vibe to it.

Beetronics FX were generous to provide me a wealth of promotional assets for this launch. I was overwhelmed to say the list because I wanted to incorporate everything given to me while still calling attention to immaculate illustration on the pedal. Using solid color blocking was the way to go. I was able to incorporate the cool comic background provided provided to me while making the pedal stand out in a unique way with the black honeycomb shapes serving as a negative space. That coupled with a strategic use of the color orange and I have a creative I’m particularly proud of.

Yes…..This is a real pedal. The Fart Pedal was sold on Reverb to coincide with April Fools. I was a fan of the green gas bubbles and leaned into it. For me, it was important that the promo still looked like it wasn’t real. I used very minimalistic elements to create a promo that’s still aesthetically pleasing, but crewed.
