In 2020. Mexican American Founder, Christina León, was inspired by her grandmothers’ engagement in needlework and began to explore embroidery as a hobby and eventually a business. HILOSOL creates embroidered goods for people with intersectional, Latinx identities just like her. I had the privilege of being brought on as the brand designer and creative director behind HILOSOL. Together with Christina, we developed key branding elements including the “sol” logo, colors, fonts and social media templates.
